Over 52.7 million accounts were compromised in 136 recorded incidents. In breaches affecting over 10,000 the financial breaches were only 28% by incident count, but almost 90% by the number affected. There were 64 large breaches, 52 breaches affecting 10,000 or less and 20 breaches where the number of people affected were either unknown or not disclosed.
